PENTA complete ESEA S24 GC list

PENTA Sports have secured the final spot at the ESEA Season 24 Global Challenge event after easing past Spirit 2-0 in the European third-place decider (16-3 on Mirage and 16-4 on Inferno.)

With BIG and GODSENT already through to the Global Challenge after reaching the final of the European bracket, the third regional spot at the $50,000 event was contested between the losing semi-finalists, PENTA and Spirit.

zehN put in a great display against Spirit

The Russian team, who fielded Aleksei "⁠NickelBack⁠" Trofimov as a stand-in after recently parting ways with Anton "⁠tonyblack⁠" Kolesnikov, posed no threat to PENTA, who conceded just seven rounds in total before walking out 2-0 winners, thanks to strong individual displays from Jesse "⁠zehN⁠" Linjala and Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend.
